Education and home programs for you, your family and caregivers is part of every SJA home care visit; your potential is our priority.
Our licensed occupational therapist (OT) will evaluate your ability to safely perform daily activities such as dressing, grooming, and bathing. The therapist may also provide education and retraining in home management, the need for assistive or adaptive equipment and assess cognitive and perceptual abilities. The OT then develops and implements a program especially geared towards safety and independence in your home.
